Having high idle prob. for the last 6 months or so. Finally traced it to the PCV hose that runs under the lower intake to the T at the back of the motor.

Question: what's the 90 degree fitting that the hose hooks up to on the base of the lower intake? Is it just a right angle fitting or is it a check valve? Need to know; if its a check valve I'll get a new one from Ford before I yank the whole blower/lower intake off to service the @$@%$ hose.

I will replace the intake gaskets and blower base gasket while its apart. This is my DD and it has 56k on it (25k on the Whipple).

Thanks.

Thanks, Jimmy.

Interesting. That means when the motor is in boost there's air blowing up the PCV line into the back of the supercharger.
