Hey guys, I've finally decided(I think) to bite the bullet on a 2011 Raptor. With the new 4 door's tow rating of 8000# It can do everything I want to use it for. What kind of real MPG's can I expect with the 6.2L? Highway, combined, driving with a light foot?

I consistently see an average tank-full getting 14-15mpg, that's city and hwy mixed. The 3k mile mark is where the mileage started to really improve, it was around 12mpg before that. Not bad really, considering over 400hp and weighing 6k lbs. The crew cab....probably expect to see close to the same numbers, maybe less considering the extra weight. I haven't seen the how much more the crew will weigh but I would guess a good couple hundred pounds more. The crew gets the 36 gallon tank as well....damn it.

I've been averaging around 12.5 to 12.6 MPG on the highway on 87 octane, but I usually cruise at around 83-85 MPH and I have a heavy foot.
