I am the second owner of this cobra. I purchased it with 18,000 miles. There is nothing wrong with it mechanically. The usual rock chips on the hood and fender for a 12 year old car. No ticks or odd noises, runs great. Transmission shifts perfectly, no grinding or issues going into gear. Car never overheated or anything of that nature. Mobile 1 5w20 since I've owned it. When I bought it, it was all stock.
**Note: amber tail lights are not on there anymore (but the 5 bulb harnesses are). One light got cracked and I ended up selling the other on ebay. Rear seat is also gone. What's in the pics is how it will be sold.
Really, the only reason I'm selling is to get a mystic or sonic blue 04 coupe.

Just looking for a ball park. Not sure what the 01's are selling for right now. I'd probably be better off selling the turbo kit separate.

Nice car, you obviously put a lot of work into it. Hate to say it but it probably won't fetch what you want for it.

I'd guess 13-14k at best.

problem with most of these builds is they are tapped out
the trans, fuel system, blower, motor and everything are at the limits
so a person buying this car has to buy it knowing
#1 its close to the limit and can break a number of things right now
#2 if you want to make more power you are going to have to buy a whole new setup anyway

^^^Me too man. Very disappointing.

If all I can get is 10k-11k, I will probably put it back to stock (or close to it) and sell the aftermarket stuff.

Sell the turbo kit and injectors maf. My bud would probably buy it off u and give u his stuff. He has long tubes and h pipe too. You will make more money that way.

When I put my '02 RSX Type-S up for sale back in '09, I was in the same boat - had built a very nice and powerful street ride (turbo, full suspension, all sorts of subtle exterior/interior upgrades, upgraded brakes, etc.), but knew that as a package I was going to end up getting less than if I parted it out. Fortunately the car was still only 7-8 years old and the aftermarket was still growing, so I sold the car as-is and made pretty well on it.

Unfortunately unless it's a relatively low mileage 99-01 Cobra that is close to stock, the market seems to be unforgiving in terms of pricing.

If you're not in a hurry, I'd park the car and start selling stuff off, then get as much as you can when it's closer to stock. That, or list it as-is and maybe you'll find an interest buyer. Good luck.

Just echoing what others have said, but I would start pulling parts off of it. That's what I intend to do with mine when I decide to sell it.

01RedBeardCobra - I'll be in touch if I go that route.
soccerman002 - I might just have to do that if I don't find the right buyer.
BreBar21 - You are not allowed to sell it. Lol. Badass car man. One of my favorites on this site by far!
