Great story and good luck with yoru future. Did you spend your whole time in Sydney? I am thinking about taking a vacation to New Zealand and Australia (Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, and maybe some other place). Any places you recommend or dont recommend?

I Can Stang - Alice Springs may be in the middle of nowhere (i wouldnt know, havent been to Oz YET) but at least it is a stepping stone. If he gets there and the job/location isnt quite what he was looking for at least he is already in Oz and start looking elsewhere.

I was never there, have you been there before?

A buddy of mine just got back from there and retired from the Navy. When I was in the Air Force it was one of the hardest assignments to get in my career field, because everyone wanted to go there. Everyone I know that went there really liked it.
