Ever notice the front lug nuts on the SS conversions are too short ?
SAI only lists ( 1 ) part # for all the nuts on the build list..

I just ordered a spare set and got them a few days ago. I took a fast look at them and I recall them looking like the one in your pic on the right. The one on the left looks way to short. I dont recall that short one being on my widebody SS rims either. What type (brand) socket do you use to get them lugs off ? Those holes are so damn narrow im afraid to scratch my rims.

Vinnie, are these your wheels? There are two members who posted WTB adds in the market section for these.

Perhaps wheels are experiencing covid pricing, similar to cars. But, pricing is OBO so hard to say what they actually sell for.
I was talking to a SAI rep 2 weeks ago and one of there other customers had there rims stolen off there SS. Dude's been waiting a year now for a new replacement....

F.Y.I... I checked my front and rear widebody SS rims both have the original lugs and tires on them and they are the smaller one's. ThIs is a 8 year old build. The new lugs I just purchased form SAI 2 weeks ago are identical to the one's on my rims. They must be the right one's that shelby used. Just my thought thou.

I contacted SAI while I was waiting for my H9's to show up. I was interested in what nuts they used on their conversions, that's how I found out about the ( 1 ) part #.
....................The front wheels require the longer lug nuts..

What difference does the size of the lug nut have on the front rim beside a cosmetic look? Does it actually effect anything? Im definitley gonna check out some other SS to verify. Everything as is the way I purchased it. Im the second owner. But if its wrong, i will definitely address it with SAI.

Thanks CobraBob.....(y)
It was brought to my attention that 1 or more of those rims have some blemishes on the face and might need to be repaired. I personally would not pay that much for a set of SS rims that may need to be sent out to be remanufactured. For the right price I would jump all over them. Unfortunately i can't use them i have the widebody SS rims.

I don't think they will move fast @ that price.
I got close up detailed pics from the seller and easily decided not to part with my money

This is what I was trying to tell you, every SS conversion I've ever seen has this issue.
.......................( H9 based wheels )
All goes back to the ( 1 ) part # for lug nuts on their build list..
