Well things just got serious, the wife gave me the green light to buy a new "whatever" and I am seriously considering a Raptor with a very, very distant second being an SRT Durango. So I am looking for some opinions on Raptors vs SRTD's, and buying under 10k miles CPO vs new. Already sent a message to Nick and am waiting to hear back from him as well.
So how did I get permission you may ask? After losing a tire (Hakkapelliita R3, 40 profile) and the alignment on my E55 AMG from our wonderful NE Ohio roads my sports sedan, year round DD experiment has ended. It did great and I loved every second of it, I was even considering replacing it with an E63S 4matic later this year. In the end it came down to no matter what I got in the high HP sedan category I would never have enough sidewall for dealing with the roads up here in the winter as a DD. Who knew Mercedes made such great muscle cars lol. I called this an experiment because it was cheaper to find this out with the used AMG vs a new Hellcat which was what I almost bought last year. So thats how we got here.
Let me know what you all think, bonus points for the Raptor is that it will never fit in our garage so the Cobra will have a permanent spot for winter storage!!!
