How is it possible that I see better from a 6-year-old pair of glasses then I do with a fresh, updated prescription pair of contacts?
Wrong script? I just got new glasses for reading and working on the computer. Progressives, and took about a day to get used to. Old ones were like 15 years and progressive lens too.

I never had as sharp vision with my contacts as I did with my glasses. Finally decided to just go with glasses.

havent had glasses for long but Im already over it, thinking about just going straight to Lasik since they said that would take care of it. Trying to use binoculars, scope etc is a pain in the ass and I just can't seem to get over the fish eye effect (astigmatism in one eye)

Thankfully I only need them to read, phone and computer. My far away was still perfect.

Two years ago my right eye finally changed into one with an astigmatism and as such the lens and glasses prescription were changed accordingly after years of it staying the same (either 4.75 or 4.25). The old glasses are perfect in what you can see and how far/close you can see w/o issue. Where it gets weirder is how the new glasses (scribed for astigmatism) make me feel as if I am floating. The doctor doesn't want to go the route of bifocals. His solution is to buy a cheap pair of readers.

Hard or soft contacts?
Soft contacts have a tendency to form to the imperfections of your eye. Hard contacts are solid, and are like glasses it won’t form to the imperfections of your eye.

This.

Try a set of hybrids. I had hybrid from Synergeyes. Best solution I've had.
