Heading to Texas to be scrapped in 2022 (sold for scrap for less than $1.00).

Back in 1967-69 when I was stationed on a CVS carrier on the West Coast, the Kitty Hawk was a carrier we looked up to. She was the creme de creme of carriers patrolling in the South China Sea back then.
