Raleigh NC Car Shows 5/17/2014 (Pic Heavy)

We had sunshine, 70's, and a light breeze yesterday which made for a perfect day for car shows here in Raleigh. I made it to the Cars & Coffee in the AM and a meet at a local burger joint in the afternoon. Here's a few a my favorites from the day:

My favorites from the Cars & Coffee meet included a Ford GT, a Lotus Evora, an NSX w/ the cleanest paint I've ever seen, a new viper, a nicely modded Boss, and a few other termi's that showed up:

Looks like the car scene in Raleigh is pretty decent. The wife just interviewed with a company based out of there.

The Evora was a bit of a flop, but the greatness of the Elise is that it's the embodiment of a concept of putting the driver first. If it doesn't make the driving experience better (and I don't mean sitting in traffic on your way to work) then the car didn't get it. I can respect that and they're neat looking and fun to ride in. The Evora however was a camry motor'd oddity that I just never felt any attraction to.

Normally I'm not a fan of the crazy color scheme on the Laguna's, but that one nailed it. Didn't get a chance to talk to the owner though unfortunately

I think with cars like the Lotus it's just the "that's not something you see every day" factor

I hate that ugly Gremlin! LOL. But I absolutely LOVE the '14 SRT Viper TA in TA Orange. What a gorgeous car!

It got moved to the third Saturday of the month at the Raleigh Grande theater off of Glenwood. The one in Cary on the first Saturday of the month got shut down.

I hate that ugly Gremlin! LOL. But I absolutely LOVE the '14 SRT Viper TA in TA Orange. What a gorgeous car!

You'd hate to see where he stores it. He keeps it outside in the apartment complex I live at. Rain/snow/storms all the time. Parks it infront of a garage too lol.

That's funny. It looked really clean. Any idea what's done to the car/what the suspension set up is?
