Racing Stripes? Too Much? If Not, What Color?

I'm having a hell of a time deciding what stripes, if any, to put on my GT. I'll have them professionally installed and was thinking about going with the Flat Black 12" stripes. But like I said, I can't decide. I've also thought about white and silver. The GT/CS wheels won't be on the car much longer. I have some 20" Matte Black Shelby CS1's on the way.

Here's the car. I plasti-dipped the vents flat black.

In my opinion the only cars that should have stripes come from the factory that way. Having said that I would still look for a stripe delete gt500.

Agreed - looks great as is. If you HAVE to scratch that itch, I'd go with classic white on blue.

I'm not much of a stripe guy either but I do like the width and layout of these:

I think plastidipping the vents gives the perfect small amount of pop without going to full on stripes.

On the 2013+ I like the single wide stripe right down the middle with 2 accent stripes in each side. I think its 1"14"1".

I love the Boss hokey stripes. Maybe someone makes them without the Boss 302 on the sides. Someone on here has HD pics of his DIB and boss stripes. It looked sick!

After this thread and discussing it with friends, I am NOT going to do stripes.

I agree with the stripe delete GT500's. I've seen them and they look GREAT!
