Karting for ALS was a charity enduro karting race hosted by Racing for ALS at GoPro Motorplex. NASCAR's Bubba Wallace and Joey Logano helped team Undevelopables #1 win the overall laps. The Rowdy Unicorns won the overall event with charity buy-in laps. It was an epic go-kart race raising over $20,000 for the Racing for ALS Patient Assistance Fund. My gf and I did the outdoor karting at Pacific Raceways for my birthday last month and it was awesome! You'd be surprised at how much lateral grip they have and how much of an arm workout it is to control them. Using the brakes will pretty much screw you and causes tons of spins and accidents from lock-ups, but once you figure out the kart it is a lot of fun and the competition is the best part.
