Raced a C6 Vette at my local ghetto 1/8m track

Not sure how many car lengths I had on him (hard to tell on vid) but it was a bunch, 1/4 mile would have been a joke.

The track is a dog, their idea of track prep is to use a hosepipe and spray off the starting line, but its fun and close to home. You have to be gentle to get out of the hole and be even more careful on your 2nd and 3rd shifts. Both cars would have better times on any other track in the country.

This was my 2nd run on my new 4.10s. Mods are JLT/2.6 metco,Nitto DR and totally stock exhaust.

Did trap at 96mph on another run,:rockon: but 7.91 was my best time.

Did the C6 have mods that you know of? What was the C6 time and mph if you don't mind me asking.

Im betting the Vette was stock. Didnt talk to him afterwards. 8.81 @83mph was his time. Most stock C6s usually run around 8.5 and C5 Z06s around 8.3 at this track.

For comparison's sake, I ran 7.7s in the 1/8 (11.8@118) with Nittos at my local track, last week, with my stock C5Z. Only ran it once on stock tires and went 12.1@117 on an unprepped track.
