Almost prepped for American Iron Extreme this October. First event.
Also, this is probably the only yellow blaze Boss 302 race car (conversion) there is.

AIX- Big turbo, 1000 horsepower at the turn of a dial and brand new 315s on all four corners every race. Good luck with that.

How many AIX cars show up in your region?

A few. I'm running as fast or faster lap times than them with their 700hp superchargers....It's definitely not about HP. I got more aero, mechanical grip and higher RPMs to put on the table.

I'm in NASA MA.

Sounds good can't wait. I am running with SCMC at Summit on Sept. 20 and 21, don't know if you are going would be great to see the car.
BTW-Darren is a much quicker driver than me, I am a much better mechanic though.

Unfortunately there aren't than many AIX or even AI drivers in MA. Darren is pretty much guaranteed a podium finish every time. On the plus pretty much all the drivers in those classes are good so Darren will have a couple cars to play with.

Cage looks awesome Darren. Mine is going in on Tuesday to finish what is needed to meet the minimum W2W requirements and have a few extra bars and gussets added. Nothing like what you have. I'm also going to be in a class running 8-10 seconds off your times so if I hit something I should be going slower.;-)

Yeah, AI attendance has been down this year, but it will recover. Let's hook up in the paddock next time you're out there. Send pics of your build too.

Steve. You really should just move to VA or MD and start a shop or join Puff when he goes full time on his shop next year. You two are second to none with coyote builds.

You'd have more work than you could handle. Especially if the shop is nearer to new Dominion track. Just sayin....

Good luck Darren.

Bars look great - and loving the color. Phoenix did a great job from what I can see!

And yeah, its underpowered to complete on the big stage in this class, but I will tackle that issue down the road. You got Eric Wong in GTS2 running 2:01's with 260hp whereas B.Greene in his 700hp AIX mustang is running 2:03's-04's.
I'm right at 2:04 (with a stock boss motor) and will cut that down to 2:00's this fall with 450-500rwhp. Good enough for some regional excitement.

In the trunk there is a fire system canister and in the cockpit an arming switch and trigger button. There are nozzles in the cabin and engine bay that get burst with flame extinguishing foam at that point. Pics of that later.
