I just bought a chip from a guy and Modular Depot is going to reprogram due his computer being different from mine. Anywho, he is supposed to sell me his 2.9 pulley as well. Can I reuse my stock hub? Does it separate from the pulley?

No a stock pulley is one piece. I have never heard of a 2.9 either.. 2.93 maybe? HIs pulley may be a one peice as well...

the stock pulley is one peice....like Pock stated the pulley could be one peice or two peice depending on the brand.
Ok thanks I appreciate all the replies. I just picked it up and its a one piece 2.90 Reichard Racing. I'm heading to Modular Depot next week!
