Am I supposed to cut from the top or bottom on the rear coils...some people have said top and some bottom...
Question on stock springs

From what I have read and seen in person, all springs (stock or aftermarket) are cut from the top.
Yea I've read top as well but ive also read some people say bottom and from what I seen the spring is more open on the bottom...the top part of the coil is almost touching together.
I think on the rears it doesn't matter. As long as the coil doesn't flatten out to form a flat mounting surface, it probably doesn't matter. I think I cut the bottom of all 4 when I did mine though.
As long as you cut from a end with a pig tail you're fine. I also cut from the bottom on all 4 corners when I did mine.

Yea I ended cutting the bottoms...
Yea, on the fronts it is fairly obvious, because they thin down and almost merge with the next coil at the end.
You would not want to cut that off.
