Question about stock 03/04 Cobras

My 04 Cobra came with the pony(mustang) grill emblem. I have heard others say their car came stock with the Cobra grill emblem. I thought they all came with the pony emblem. My question is did all 03/04 Cobras come stock with the pony grill emblem or did Ford change from pony to snake or snake to pony sometime during production.

Thanks, that is what I thought but I have heard a few other people claim differently and I was just curious.

Many wish Ford had gone with the snake emblem from the getgo. IMO that was the way to go.

speaking of snake in grills, are these special torx screws holding the pony emblem in place? I looked at mine and they look like torx bits but the center protrudes out so you'd have to have a hollow center to get the bit in there to undo the emblem. I'm leaning toward the 3D emblem snake, but holding off for now due to expense.

The scews are T25 tamper-proof torx.

All cars came stock with the running pony.

yeah would've been nice if ford had the snake to start off with but that was one of the first things i did was get the snake up front.... and it is T25 tamper proof torc... picked one up at right away....
