Question About Front End

I was driving on the highway the other day and my steering appeared to get really loose. It is kind of hard to explain but when I turn the wheel it feels like there is a lot of play before it actually starts to turn. Kind of feels like the steering wheel on the Arcade games where it is really loose but after it gets to a certain point it stiffens up and it turns. This is very strange not sure what it could be maybe tie rods or something any ideas. oke:

Guess it is the Steering Rack Bushings from what I seen in another post. Are these hard to change.

not too hard, just unloosen a few bolts, takes about 2 hours start to finish.
