Stop listening to anything Bama / AM has to say. @MalcomV8 (I think I got the screen name correct) and many others can tune your car. You are surrounded by tuners in FL that can tune.My homework consisted of reading the BAMA website, along with the various websites that sell these tuners. I then searched forums for key words like "egr delete" and "tunes for egr/cai delete", which all brought up threads upon threads of people talking about how all you need is a tuner to delete them, many of which mentioned SCT and Bama as specific tuners to accomplish this. Like I said, the americanmuscle site specifically states they can delete the egr with their tunes. It's literally still on their site right now.

Look at the second question in the Q&A area.
How much more homework should I have done? I debated going with Tweecer or Bama, and after many people suggesting Bama I went with it. My annoyance is directed at the reputable website where I purchased the tuner for being very clear that this tuner CAN do what I want it to do. Only to find out AFTER I dropped $430 that I can't do three of the four things I wanted it for. I talked to them yesterday and just got off the phone with them again, yet their website STILL shows it can delete the EGR function. You don't think that's misleading? I'm sorry if I'm a little pissy, but given the circumstance I think I have the right to be. Especially since they won't return it and now I'm stuck with something that MAY do what I want, only if I can find someone who can do it. Because from what they told me just now, nobody using SCT software can delete the function. At this point unless I can find someone who CAN do it, I'm stuck with either now replacing all the missing emissions components, or selling this and buying an older tuner or a tweecer.
I would also be demanding an R/A label and refund from AM due to misleading advertising. Then pick up a tuner with older firmware.
