I've found a 2003 sonic blue convertible with 10k miles on it all stock for 27k from a dealer is that a good deal? Also are there any good tuner around the southern illinois area that anyone knows about? I'm only 2 hours from st. louis so a 2-3 hour drive is no problem

Thanks
John

It's what I would expect them to ask for that car, but not where the negotiations should end. Offer then $25K and see where you two end up. And test drive it very carefully to check for engine tick, vibration over 80mph, rear end pops and tinks....

If any of this is present, make the dealership fix all of it before agreeing on the price.

Price is good but you should be able to get it down a bit more if that is there asking price. I would check the vehicle's history, too. Look for major repairs and/or repeat issues, etc.

ask for an oasis report, if its at a ford dealer, if its not get the vin and take the vin to a ford dealer and see if the car still has a warrenty.
