I am in the process of pulling the engine out of the cobra. I have been using the vacuum line coming off of this purge flow sensor for my boost gauge for years and honestly forgot about it.
From what I understand the sensor is for the evap system for emissions purposes. I have deleted pretty much everything (EGR, smog pump, etc...) and wanted to know if this purge flow sensor is still necessary.
I'd like to simply delete it and run a straight vacuum line into the cabin instead of having this purge flow sensor dangling around in the engine bay.
Is this possible or does it serve a purpose I don't know about that is crucial to the car functioning correctly?
Thanks in advance.
