After much saving and scouring the internet I finally purchased a terminator. I couldn't afford what a pristine sonic blue is going for now so I got this in hopes to put it all together and save a few bucks. I'm located in northern va and purchased the car in upper Marlboro md the seller was extreamly informative and was great with the sale and was in the process of putting it all back together but funds were needed for other projects so the car was put for sale. i was hoping maybe someone from this site may know of this cars history or maybe even owned it at one point. I have a lot of receipts for parts and maintenance before the motor was blown and rebuilt but the farthest back they go is 2008 when the car was located at a dealership called performance auto sport in Richmond Virginia. any help appreciated and any tips on the current setup would help as well. thank you

welcome to the forum. It’s CRAZY these cars go for so much money now. $13,000 for a roller, with the engine on a pallot.

I sold my 100k mile bolt on car for $16,500!

If that's a factory delete car it may have come from the Pittsburgh area. I knew of one up there that had the motor rebuilt..

Curious to know if it's the same one.

Only in a sale ad for a Cobra would a working alternator be considered a big positive. Nice grab OP.

Should be a fun project for you, best of luck.

Man I’d love to find a car with those miles and mods. Could be an awesome score pending on attention to detail of the mechanics doing the mods. Buying something that modded could be a nightmare as far as chasing down gremlins.... or it could be smooth. Time will tell

Good luck OP!

Rule of thumb , never buy some one project cars or project car in general .
This. Congrats on the purchase, but I hope your thoughts on saving money in the long run works for you.

I personally wouldn't buy someone else's "project".
