I knew there was a trade in or some cash thrown in there somewhere, because nobody, much less a dealer, is gonna let a black on black M6 SS with 3,800 miles on it go for $7,200! They'd be better off letting a salesman or the manager take it home and claim it stolen rather than shoot themselves in the foot like that. :lol1: But super super super nice car OP! I miss mine dearly! :(

As for what I'd do... Personally I'd just keep it a full bolt-on only car, 3.73s or maybe 4.10s, lower it and pick up some chrome ZR-1 wheels. As for a grille: http://www.texas-speed.com/p-1954-slp-grille-assembly-1998-02-camaro-ss-black-ss.aspx

congrats on the pick up.....lots of potential

the key is to keep it under 10k miles, so you have plenty of time to enjoy it. Maybe take it to a show or two and slap a for sale sign on it and see what happens.

his is deff a deal that should have been scooped up but 4th gens arent bringing huge money. There are more than a few low mileage 99-02 Firehawks on the boards/forums/ebay with 2-10k miles that usually sell for around $20k. There was a 10th Anniversary on Ebay that finally sold for $19,400. It has 8k or so miles.

Example...
here is one with 6k miles. Its a 99 Firehawk. Asking $18K
