U gunna polish and was the tranny tunnel while you're there lol?
LOL. No but I have already started cleaning. LOL. (It's not very dirty anyway.)

Good luck with the clutch install and all the other goodies! Your car is by far the cleanest Cobra I've ever seen. Flat out awesome. Great job.
Thanks.

thats the exact set-up I was pricing out last week...thats funny !!! Are you going w/ the D&D Input ?
Yes.

Nice...that clutch is awesome, youre going to love it.
That's what I hope to say when all said and done.

I still wanna know what Blower that clutch is gonna need to handle..... :read:
Who says I am going to be running a blower. :smmon:

The Gorilla Tuner Lugs have been perfect thus far. 5 Sets of True Forged wheels later. LOL. I jacked the car up on the wood and ramps. I don't trust driving up on them.

Because the only thing forsale so far is his blower.. I'm going to go with a 2.9 whipple though.
Well we will have to just wait and see. :-D

well duh!! you better not let me down on the 2.9L Whipple lol. There is no way you'd put the stock eaton back on.. Maybe for like a day or two so you can drive it but permanatley I don't see that happening.

Did you get the clutch kit with flywheel, or are you using yours over? I notice they sale it both ways.

I got the clutch and flywheel removed and all looked great surprisingly.

Here's a quick pic of the stock 10 spline input shaft that will be going away in favor of the 26 spline.

And the stock clutch wich served it's duty well.

Dont forget to to take the lead weight(painted black)off the fork, its only one bolt.I didnt know when I did mine and when i was done I couldnt get it adjusted properly. With it removed it allows the fork to go back far enough for proper adjustment because of the extra height from the TD.

McLeod 4.6L Ford Mustang Street Twin Clutch w/8 Bolt Steel Flywheel (26 Spline) [64308-00-07C] - $1,100.00 : Performance Parts - Ford Mustang - Cobra - Dodge Viper - Chevy Corvette - C6 - LS1

Is this the RXT Model? This seems like a great deal if so. I don't know much about clutches, that is why I am asking.

Note: Not endorsing this company, just asking a question.

Nope, thats the street twin that is one level up in power handeling than the RXT model. I am running it and dont have any complaints at all.

If you go one level up on the site you will see what I mean.

Mine will be up for sale with VERY low milage in a bit because I want to go auto with my turbo.

OK. The clutch arrived from Lethal Performance so I thought I would share with a few more pics.

I ended up going with the RXT Model due to the HP level I am at. Jared as well as others assured me the driveability will be fine. (A big concern in my book!)

Also, a few board members said they had trouble with the RST slipping with higher HP levels.

Anyway, on to the pics!
Here's what you are greeted with when you open the box. The clutch is assembled and marked for proper alignment.

ARP hardware is used throughout. Here you can see the straps for the floater plate and the quality of the Mcleod unit!

The discs have Ceramic facings.

Wondering what my stock clutch looked like?

Surprisingly good actually.

Still had lots of meat left.

Even the pressure plate still had the machined grooves in it and looked OK.

Here's the 10 spline input shaft and throw out bearing retainer sleeve that will be getting replaced.

New FRPP pilot bearing installed!

And new ARP Flywheel bolts with Red Locktite for the install of the flywheel.
