Procharger kit problem

I just got the kit installed on the 2015 mustang 5.0. We were making a second pass on the dyno and smelled something burning. We noticed the rubber elbow that Procharger supplied for the cold air kit was sucked shut. Unfortunately it damaged the rubber cone on the supercharger wheel that's pressed on. So, we called Procharger and they acted like it was our fault. They said you installed the cold air kit on the F1A? Yes, you sent it to us with the kit. Their reply was. Well you have to use a screen on that supercharger. I guess it's our fault for following the instructions and using the cold air kit they sent with the kit.

A shop installed the kit?
Or
You installed the kit?

It's pretty well known, not to a rubber elbow on a F1. If you HAVE to use a elbow. Use a short straight coupler to a alum 90 or 45.

F1 is a race blower. I didn't even use a screen on mine. It costs power. Inlet bell only

The instructions are for a p1 maybe including a d1.

You upgraded past the instruction manual. I can't believe they sent instructions with a race blower. Mine came in a box with foam.
