The Rock (the king of the mic IMO)
Stone Cold (though I wasnt too much of a fan of his, but respected his talent)
John Cena (probably the closest anyone has come to topping The Rock as of yet)
Batista (had good ring presence IMO)
HHH
Mick Foley/Mankind
Undertaker (American Badass version)
Kane
Chris Jericho
The Big Show
Hogan (was out of WWE before I started really watching, but came back for a short time with The Rock right before they split Smackdown and Raw).

Pretty much sums it up for me. Basically late 90's early 00's in its heyday right before MMA/UFC ultimately raped that entire spectrum of fanbase. Why watch a bunch of greased up dudes wrestle in spandex with a pre-determined outcome and cheesy soap opera story lines when you can watch them actually beat the shit out of each other without acting so homosex while doing so?

Aj Styles deserves a mention for some of the newer talent though he's been around for awhile now, isnt the greatest on the mic, but very athletic and has some great matches and can work with anyone. His indy stuff was really good and his stuff from 05-08, hes just stuck in a horrible company.

I was also a huge Diamond Dallas Page fan back in the day. He was older than most when he started as a wrestler but had some good matches and was good on the mic too, the first and original "peoples champion" before the Rock started saying it.

Bill Goldberg. loved the way he was escorted to the ring and that theme song was off the hook and intiminidating. i remember when someone hit him in the head with a stop sign and he just stared at them and then jackhammered them lol.

Also Adam Bomb didnt say much but was huge, fast and destructive and last but not least Undertaker

JYD lol?

Hogan
Bret Michels
Kurt Angle could probably whoop them all "in true wrestling".

me and my girlfiend want monday night raw every time. she loves randy orton (now on SD) and Im a john cena fan.

as for the whos the best/greatest performer.. you really hae to split it into two groups. there have been so many great wrestlers on it thats its really impossible to narrow down one or two all time greatest.

old school
Hogan is prob the most well known, not the best wrestler but his personality is unmatched

Randy Savage would be second.

from the new people.

john cena
the rock/Dwayne Johnson
randy orton
HHH/Paul Levesque
alberto del rio/Alberto Rodríguez

I'd say Punk and Danielson (Daniel Bryan) are probably the two best wrestlers in current era wrestling. Orton has gotten better recently, and Christian deserves mention for the newer era as well, even though he's been around awhile. Cena gets too much flack for his stale character, but is more than capable of producing a good match when it counts.

Farmer Burns, Frank Gotch, and Gene Lebell......at least when pro wrestling was still "real" and didn't have a predetermined outcome.

1. Andre the Giant-He was a real giant. Saw a biography a couple of weeks ago, really amazing. From a little farm town in France. Built a house/farm in South (North?) Carolina and raised Texas Longhorns! He could drink anyone under the table. His reputation as a drinker is scary. 2. Undertaker-Was a Basketball star on schloarship until he screwed up his knee. I worked at an Indian dealarship for a while. The Undertaker stopped into one of our stores to check out the bikes, killing some time before the show. They were putting a new Scout on a display podium, which involves rolling it up a ramp. The Undertaker walked over, said "Let me help you" to the guys, grabbed the bike by the frame, picked it up, and set it on the podium. That's a strong man.

When I was real little it was Hogan and as I got older it was hands down The Rock. The way he carried himself, conducted interviews, his humor, tag lines, etc. all awesome.

I stopped watching wrestling I guess right at the end of highshool and when everything started to merge into WWE and The Rock wasn't really around much.

I know I've gotten older, but anytime I've flipped to wrestling recently all the people now don't seem as natural "in character". I will say I did watch The Rock's "comeback" back in February and he was just as smooth as I remember.
