well i think my car has a cam (bought the car, i dont remember if he said it has one or not) and i get that idle all the time. The whole car moves with the idle, and i can feel the idle in the car(not just the car shaking). And stock cam is good to about 5k and mine pulls hard to the rev limiter. Also, there is a big power increase at about 26-2800 rpm, most noticable in 2nd gear.
