Power Tower vs Steeds Shifters

Any thoughts? I read the thread from this weekend about the Steeda that someone had issues with. I want to make this mod soon.

(I know to use CobraBob for the gasket ;-) )

I highly recommend a Pro 5.0 shifter with a MGW Shifter handle http://www.mgwltd.com ...

MGW is supposed to be making a SHIFTER so you might want to wait on that. Just changing your stock handle to the MGW handle will make a HUGE difference.

Thanks Abe. I actually read that thread again just a few minutes ago and figured that was the one you were referring to. That's a problem I haven't heard before. I had two TriAxs installed on my Cobra and they were both fine. I got rid of the first one because for some strange reason it was SUPER loud. So I sold it and bought another one, which was quieter but still just a bit noisy. A few months later I started making my shifter gaskets, installed one (of course!) and the noise pretty much disappeared.

I'm leaning towards the Steeda. For me, its about supporting the local boys and Steeda is local.
