So I picked up a 2003 SB roller with a T56/ 3.90 geared IRS and the powerplant I have is a 9.7:1 teksid, CP pistons, 03/04 rods and crank topped with ported 9 thread heads. I have a complete ported stock blower setup and was curious on what blower would be best for a street car that I want to trap 135 in. Thanks for any advice.

Sounds like a stout setup! A big factor is going to be your fuel system and the fuel of your choice. I had a TVS on e85 around 22psi and was trapping 133/134. Your bump in compression and built engine will get you there easier than my stock 8.5:1 engine did. A 2.8 KB or 2.9 whipple I’d imagine would be in that ball park of 135 on pump gas with your setup.

You would like to run at least 135 or not exceed 135? Most tracks make you 6 point at 135+ which may be factor
ballpark may need 700-750 whp to trap 135. With your spec on E85, about any blower should get you there, even a 2.3 on medium-ish boost

personally I would get a gen4/5 whipple 2.9 or 3.0. But don't be upset if you run a little bit faster!

thanks fellas. maybe i should just look for a g4 2.9 and run 20lbs. should be a ton of fun with the 3.90 gears and the added compression. the car has a racecraft k-member so she’s going to be nice and light with that teksid too

That is darn good a base for the power level you're striving for. Keep us posted as you build your dream Cobra.
