There is a 2010 in the area with similar mods (slight exhaust difference) that put down similar numbers on the same dyno, so I would figure it about typical.
It's not set at crazy timing or ultra lean fueling, and it makes 737 RWHP when it's warm.

For me the HP ladder has gone incrementally like this:

Stock: 440 RWHP

JLT, 2.6 Upper, Canned Tune: 547.3 RWHP

Ported TVS @ 17psi, TB, CAI, Exhaust, Local Tune: 662 RWHP

As above @ 19psi with Lund Tune: 742 RWHP

What was done to gain 2 psi from 662 to 742 rwhp? Was there anything else besides the tune that was different to gain 80 rwhp?

The original tune 17psi was not done well and was costing me about 40 rwhp. So it skews the gains per modification a lot in my case

The tune didn't add the 2psi though. He's asking what was done to get the extra boost? Was it revved higher or a pulley swap? That's a huge difference between identical combos and tuner being the only difference.

Fair enough, it was late when I replied, the VMP TVS came with a 2.5" pulley stock which delivered a peak boost of 17psi. I dropped to a 2.4" pulley and got about 2psi more boost.

2011 Stock vs VMP Tune & JTL CAI

Put down 512-RWHP\483-ft/lbs on the Dyno today. Much nicer run with a CAI and VMP tune.

RunFile 007 – Best run today
RunFile 002 – Best run last year (stock power)
