There are ways around it to purchase one in CA. Buy the lower receiver from any gun shop, go through the usual background check. Then buy the upper receiver, trigger assembly, stock and accesories seperate. It's not that hard to get your hands on one. Just make sure that if you get the 10 round clip. There are several laws like length of barrel, cannot be fully automatic and must be a fixed clip. Do some search on it, it's not as hard as it seems to get one.

Are you guys alowed to shoot this awesome guns anywhere? Can you go to any shooting range and go crazy, or are there only certain ones?
The only guy i know of in this thread that has full auto and that is legal is the OP. Unless otherwise stated by the other posters, the guns are SEMI- auto. In order to purchase a full auto ar-15, you have to go through all kinds of BS and give up certain rights. then the full auot version is gonna cost bookoo bucks. You can shoot semi-auto AR's anywhere just as you can with any other rifle. No difference in these guns then typical auto loading hunting rifles in terms of legality. If you want to shoot full auto machine guns, your gonna have to find a range that allows it. Hope this helps:thumbsup:
