Hey guys, I just wanted to check if any of you who have had a UPR firewall adjuster experienced the cable not sitting flush with the adjuster knob. I made sure i followed the instructions perfectly and the cable still doesn't flush. The car shifts fine and everything but it just doesn't look right and Im not sure if i should be concerned.

Here is a pic so you can get an idea of what i mean.

Did you search? Someone just posted about this about 2-3 weeks ago and there were solutions in the thread. There is nothing wrong aside from visual if that is a problem for you.

Basically you need a rubber sleeve or tubing to go over the end of the clutch cable.

You just need to take up the size difference from the outside of the clutch cable liner and the inside diameter of the adjuster. I wrapped my clutch cable tightly with electrical tape and have never had an issue. Not saying that's the proper way , but has worked well for me.
