So here is my bird. She's a '94 5 speed 63K miles on the clock. I have some work done to here but it's still a WIP as always. Last dyno it put down 260RWHP and around 360RWTQ (need more) Hope you all like.

Here are few of my 97 Cougar Sport. I don't have any recent of my 89 with the 7 spoke wheels on it.

Needs tint? yes, it does.
Need to dump the chrome wheel well moulding? yes, I think so too.
Need some real tires on it? yup
Need some bigger brake rotors? yup

Hmm, nevermind, here is the 89. A beater in every sense of the word, but it works. 140 hp in 3800 pound car isn't the greatest, but it gets me around!

The 7 spokers came on the 97 (it is a Sport, and it uses the same wheels the 89-90 XR7 SC cars did), but for various reasons they can't go back on the 97.

In a week the 97 is going to have 13 inch Cobra rotors and the calipers (best 370 bucks I spent I hope) and that requires the 17 inch wheels.

I did a knuckle/spindle change on the 89 to the 93+ spindles and swaybar end links, had the Sport brake setup off the 97 (which got an eBay set of used Mustang dual piston PBR calipers and smaller rotors) so I threw that on the 89, but now I can't run the 15 inch stockers.

So in a week I COULD run the 15 inch wheels again on the 89 since it is getting the smaller PBR calipers that fit the 15 inch wheels, but no way the XR7 wheels will clear the 13 inch brakes. They are real close with the 11.8 inch sport brakes Heck, I don't know if the aftermarket China cast Bullitts will clear the 13 inch brakes or not, I am obviously hoping they do.

I like Cougars too, this car has been in my family since December of 87. That picture really hides alot it's in bad need of a paint job. I took the motor from my 86 Mustang gt (R.I.P) and put it in it. It's got fms springs,and a cat bac Want to do more but.........$$$$$$
