Damn, nice notch. Any idea what the name of the paint on the wheels is? Where can I get paint like that? I would like to paint my wheels that same color. I was thinking maybe black but that color is better. Is it just plain graphite or what? oh yeah, nice notches... keep 'em coming! :rockon:

IMO I would never put anything besides a hood (cowl)on a notch....the simplicity of those cars is what makes them great. I don't even like the saleen kits on them...keeping them simple is keeping them beautiful

The paint is Argent Metallic it is a Ford color...

It is a PPG paint called Copperhead. I just finished painting it. It is not 100% perfect, and I still need to put back on some of the emblems, but I love it for an everyday driver..

Here's some of my POS :-D . I bought it bone stock and have personally done every mod to it and all labor except the tuning which was done by Mike Murillo. The wheels are gonna be changed soon to 18" roush or steeda ultralight II's and I also have Baer eradispeed two piece rotors to clean up the exterior all the way around. This winter, the engine is coming out and the engine bay cleaned up w/ all holes welded up, etc. Probably do a dart block stroker w/ more boost in the future.

Here are some of my best friends 25k mile notch. Its in mint, mint shape.

you guys are giving me great ideas for mods. i just bought a clean notch body that im building. right now it has a supercharged 3.8 out of a thunderbird, but i allready have a 9.5" deck, 4.125 bore dart block and forged rotating assembly w/4.1" stroke, and hope to have a set on AFR 225's on the way soon. just trying to decide on the induction... either EFI w/a big turbo or a carb'ed/n2o setup (more than likely due to limited funds...)

This is my '86 coupe. It started life as a 4 banger, I'm swapping an EFI 302/t5. I also ditched the 7.5 for an '03 Cobra IRS & Wilwoods all around. It's not as nice as the rest of y'alls cars, it's still a project right now. :shrug:
