I don't own a GT500 but the 2011 would be your best choice now the 13's are out.
I would buy an 11 with the SVT performance pack & all aluminum motor.
the '07-2009s are nice but the 11 has far better shifter, suspension & body lines.

The other factor is you have to lower and put wheels on a '07-2009.
The 2011 GT500 SVTPP only needs tinted tails and Performance upgrades.

Last night my Dad and I stopped and looked at a 2007 GT500 and I don't know how I ever liked that body style. No offense to the owners of those cars, but they are fugly compared to the 2010+

+1 2010+ looks SO MUCH better than 2007-09.

One last point I like to point out.......the 07-09's stand out among the other 07-09 s197s. What I mean is that you know when you see one you don't have to look hard to tell its a Shelby. Now with the 2013's all sharing the same front grill and tail lap design you have to double take and look hard to make sure it is a 10-13 GT500 espically if it is in the distance. The only thing that makes the 13 GT500 look much different is the quad pipes, granted the front is easy to tell from a V6 or GT is still takes a second to make sure. Now with that being said I also think that about my Terminator but the other day a meat head from my gym seen me getting into my car and it clearly says Cobra on the rear bumper and he said "that is the sickest GT I have seen" I got all pissy (like a girl) and said "don't disrespect it, it's not a GT", he looked confused. I look back and realize not everyone is a car guy and it just made me look like a cocky Cobra owner which I try not to be.

I hate threads like these... I was between a GT500 and a Terminator and bounced back and forth for freaking about a month trying to decide and pulled the trigger on a Termi and now this thread has me back into thinking a GT500 is what I want now... damn it! I really like all of yours guys GT500's.
