Guys going through a life changing event need advice please. Have a 2003 cobra, have to repair exhaust leak and a door ding through insurance. 101k miles do you think it's worth a trade for a jeep Rubicon 4 door with 3.8L?

Not a horrible trade but the 3.8 was the worst motor ever for jeep, hence the reason they only used it for 3 years.

not a chance.

10 years from now, cobra will still be worth something. not sure that jeep is worth anything right now

not to mention the cool factor. no comparison there. plus jeeps are shit to drive...handle like, well, a box on wobbly springs.

Do not, under any circumstances, buy anything with a 3.8 Dodge. I had a JKU with 35s and the 3.8/6 speed. The Jeep was nice, but the engine was a complete pile. Leaked. Ate plugs. Couldn't get up a hill in a gear above 4th. The 3.6 in 2012 and up is a HUGE improvement!
