Heres a video of some friends racing-
video is a little over 8 minutes long.
Cobra VS civic race is around 5 minutes into it.
And the cobra owner doesnt know much about cars but says the reason for the car only having 14 psi is because it has the stock maf. yea.. but anyways

The black civic ran a 10.7 @ 139mph @ 27lbs of boost about 2 months ago.
All races in the video are at 15lbs .

All the cars are quick.

139 mph in the 1/4 with 27 psi with a "slow" LS (non vtec) with a 1.8 liter 4 cylinder spinning off the line with a total of around $12000 in it.

rickys car has never had 700hp, maybe in the mid 500s @ 27lbs (10.7)-
its around 375whp @ 15lbs

yea i thought that was weird myself, that is supposed to be a fresh set of rings due to the motor blowing both head gaskets and burning some pistons- some shop put it all back together, apparently they didnt do a very good job??

think about it now, 32v 4.6 kb cobras, 10.xx at around 130mph-average around 17psi

civic, 1.8L, 10.7 at 139 at 27psi

not bad at all considering the displacement difference,

look i like any fast car, just dont hate on the civic because its not how you would spend your money.

I could care less how 'cool' it is. I want to go fast on a buget, not drop 25grand on a engine just to run high 10's. I do hate on civics, cause I have yet to see a fast one. Yes I know they are out there, but I still could care less if I got beat by one.
