Ported and Polished Upper Intake Manifold

Is adding a gutted, ported and polished upper intake a good idea?

It will allow me to use a single blade throttle body will this make a big difference.

Keep in mind that am running a vortech s-trim.

Let me know your thoughts guys thanks.

That intake hat will alow you to run the single blade TB. It wont give you a big difference in power but your throttle response will pick up quite a bit. If you have the extra money to spend its not a bad idea but that money could be spent elsewere that gives you more benefit, ie suspension or chasis.

its so easy to port it yourself for the single blade tb that its pointless to waste money on one thats already done if thats all your looking for.

All that work does not free up any hp...not even 1rwhp. Put the work into the lower, now that'll free up some power.
