I changed everything up from the flat black and now it's all wrinkle black

Where did you get that pipe that comes right off of the Throttle Body and goes to your fender. It looks like its part of a cold air intake kit?

i did mineral grey on everything, just painted it in the shop when i did the engine bay

Not a turbo car. The intake lid is powder coated the same color as the intake pipe.

@CobraMac, who was the manufacture of the black wrinkle? The stuff I've received from dupont does not appear to have that much texture to it.

Here is my polished 01 upper intake with the lower painted black. Its a bit of a pain to keep clean, but i have been worried to mess it up by using a sealer on it.

Just painted mine flat black. Came out awesome IMO. Now i need to decide if I want to do wrinkle black or blue valve covers or not.

How I started: Greasy.

Thought of a good way to mask off the injector holes without spending another hour masking perfect circles; Pennies!

I used flat black 2000 degree engine enamel. No primer, just cleaned, scuffed and cleaned some more and layed down light coats. Came out awesome.

Nice, I might have to do that as I want mine to match my valve covers.
