I know this can be done, but I wanted to see how they look on the stock wheels and if they are close to the irs bolt. I may get the NT05Rs in 315 instead, not sure. Thanks in advance, I'm sure there are some old pics out there.

Thanks, looks like they fit fine. I searched before, but they were all on 10.5 rims.

This was my first choice, however after a little more research, my decision now is between the 275 NT05 or the 275 NT05r's. But they dont look bad at all.

Be VERY careful putting the NT05R 315/17 on your 9" rims as this tire is more of a "true" 315 unlike the NT555R. The 555Rs run smaller/narrower than other 315s, so that's how we get away with putting them on the stock 9" rim. You can't fit a BFG or MT 315 on our stock rim and the NT05R runs like a normal 315. It's made for a 10.5 rim, so it will really bulge and could be unsafe instead of a little bulge like the 555R. Ask Matt from Discount Tire for the dimensions and he'll be able to compare the two tires on the 9" rim and let you know how much wider the NT05R will be.

+1 i'm pretty sure the 315 NT05R's will have to go on a 10.5 rim. I have the 315's on my stockers and they fit fine.

I was going to try it because the width difference between the 2 is .35" or .175 on each side.

315 Nitto DR or 315 M/T DR will fit fine on a stock rim as they are pretty narrow for a 315 size tire.

Let us all review this picture and think long and hard about our recommendation for using a completely mismatched wheel and tire combination.

God forbid your tires bulge even 1 mm past the lip of the rim, you will surely die at any speed over 5 MPH.

Yeah 315 Nitto DR's look good and doesnt look like they bulge much. I'm sure the guys that are running the stock 275's up front and 315 DR's arent going road racing with this set-up.

I've been thinking of doing something similiar but not sure how it will look. I want a staggared look on the stock wheels. I don't plan on track time and not interested in DRs. Does anyone have a pic of 275/35/18 fronts and 295/35/18 rears on stock wheels and not DRs? Any recomendations? Thinking of NT-555 "Extreme ZR"s in this combination.
