Btw, discount tire direct will sell those tires to you for really cheap if you find a cheaper price on a random website and email it to them saying that you will buy off DT if they pricematch. I did that earlier this year for the same tires and get them for 240.

guys nitto has the new nt05r in 285/40/18 (this is their new dr)

perfect fit for the back of our stock wheels

They look quite sticky, but for those of us who don't want to break out in a white knuckled sweat every time it starts raining they may not be a great choice.

Anyone tried these in the rain?

what about the regular NT05's?? Ive read that they are pretty good in the rain and dry weather? would those be a good alternative to DR's? The only problem with those is they again dont make 305/40's for that tire.

What is the difference between Discount Tire "Direct" and plain ol' Discount Tire (other than $26 less per tire)? I see shipping is free.

Do they ship to the nearest Discount Tire for mounting?

Discount tire direct will ship directly to your door. There really is no difference.
