Well, I went and picked myself up another toy I've been wanting for a good while, a true DSLR. I snagged a D70S and a good quality Nikor medium range lense. I had some fun today learning this thing... let me tell you its abilities are just amazing. I can't wait to become a pro at it. I shot 130+ pictures, and here are my favorites. Let me know what ya think!

Thanks fellas! I'm using the AFS 18-70 lense, worked out pretty good. Thanks again for all the kind words! This was really my first real attempt with a 'decent' camera. I've allways had sub $300 point-and-shoot units prior to this.

Well I just got the cobra too, lol. I've had it about a week. The camera, glass, and a 2GB memory card cost me about $900 smackers.

i have the same lens. it's pretty nice. I'm looking at the 2.8 AF-S VR 70-200 next. That and a wide angle. It's an expensive hobby. goodluck man. keep shooting.

Nice car and camera! I also was lucky enought to recently purchase a digital SLR, a Canon 400d or xti. You took some great shots!

if it's any consoloation two new bodies just came out, Canon's XTi and Nikon's D80. Get your KB and wait a little because they're going to drop in price in a few months.
