Its not brand new but it's new to me.
It's a 2008 G37S with 27k miles, 6 speed. I figured it was time to drive something a little more comfortable as my daily and something that has some nice bells and whistles. It doesn't have the torque that my HCI '95 with a 100 shot or the blown fox I had for a while, but it still has some decent top end pull. And it just feels smooth.
My plan was to leave this thing bone stock but the mod bug might be ready to bite - the exhaust isn't loud enough for me. :D

Can't find my freakin camera so Slightly crooked iPhone pics will have to do for now.

Nice car! I always liked those and the G35's. I dont think an exhaust would hurt anything either btw!

Not much to mod on those. Can't really get any power unless you go FI. They don't respond much to intake/exhaust.

^^^ Very true. My wife and I both have sedan G's right now (07 and 08). I put a very good intake on mine and it sounds meaner, but performs slower! Infiniti did a good job right from the factory. Even cat-backs don't do much good...other than sound, and can be raspy depending on the brand.

Anyway, they are wonderful cars...reliable, reasonable gas mileage, handle good, and my 07 with 60k+ miles still looks brand new.

Only downsides are that they are like Hondas down here in south FL (everywhere!), and the S can eat tires quickly since they can't be rotated. Also, the brakes tend to be a bit problematic on S and non-S models.

Enjoy the car!

Yea I figured as much with the mods. That's one of the reasons I went with the G37 because I knew I wouldn't kill my wallet modding it.

The exhaust would be pretty much for sound. It sounds ok but I want a bit different exhaust note.
