Picked up my 03 DSG yesterday. On the drive back from Oklahoma city it thru the p0171 and p0174 codes? isin't this the part throttle lean codes? thinking may be a vacumm leak, any suggestion on where to look? Car does have magnaflow exhaust, cold air and 2.81 pulley and tune. Didn't put it into boost till i solve this.

Because it's throwing both PO171 and PO174 that means the lean condition is on both bank 1 and bank 2 so it's most likely a vacuum leak, a leak on the intake or a dirty Mass air. Clean the MAF first, make sure the intake is clamped tight down stream from the maf. If that doesn't fix it, start looking for vacuum leaks.
In an odd case it could be an exhaust leak before the 02 sensor but it would have to be on both sides which is possible if the manifold to x-pipe bolts aren't tight.

^^^Agreed,i`ve seen a loose intake cause this many times.
