They make real products for this.if you think this works, you're probably the same idiot washing his car with dish soap and rubbing turtle wax on it and calling it "detailing".


Explain to me how that that isn't technically a "detail"

Sure it's not crazy as many other do it.. But I do believe washing and waxing a car is detailing.

Does it work, yes. The oils in the peanut butter darken the trim and 'hide' any wax residue or fading. Is it the proper method/product to use? NO. (especially when some wildlife smells the peanut butter and go @peshit on your trim!)

As others have said, people have been doing this for years...not necessarily the correct way to do it, but there are hundreds of 'detail tips/tricks' that are BS.
