Painted the GT500 mufflers black to hide them under the car. **pic**

Maybe I will wait on that until they get nasty like the other user said. I do like the polished tips, but semigloss black would be nice too. Like that pypes muffler delete system thats black.

bought this today from LRS and will have it tomorrow to install, had them on my GT500 also

Just did this on my 12 GT/CS
Turned out GREAT!! Very happy with the results.

I painted my gt500's before I installed them, I really like the black mufflers of the american thunder axle backs, and wanted to keep that same clean look. I did not paint the tips and don't plan to, i like the polished look.

That was exactly my thought. I installed my new GT500's on Saturday, painted them up in matte black high temp on Friday. I had to paint the whole muffler, im too picky not to. I think it blends in well with the back of car instead of standing out like the OE mufflers did.
