Im special and proud of it. Wish I could be super "special" and make 1000+ rwhp on 23+lbs of boost and go mid 8's on my stock stuff.
I'm going for super special!
5.2 liter coyote with 11.5:1 cr, hand ported Boss heads with Boss cams, MMR valve springs/retainers, ported Boss manifold, 84.5 Accufab tb, CPR Turbo Kit with 76/87/.90 turbo, dumped wastegate, Fore triple 465's return system with I.D. 1300's, E85, should get me there

That's crazy. Almost the same set up that I'll be running. But I got the 80/96 with a2w intercooler. My kit should just about be finished up. It's been a little wait but it's going to worth it. My 5.2 sleeved MMR short block should be finish this week as well. Xmas coming early this year.

I got the air to water intercooler also. Mounting a ice/water tank in the trunk. I went with the smaller 76/87 so I can run around on the street with low boost & pump 93. Then make 1000whp on E85 & high boost. I'm going to run a e-Boost 2 controller. Dustin said that 80mm isn't happy till your making 1200+whp, I'm sure it will make plenty more than that.

I will be very interested to see what kinda numbers you lay down with a 76/87. That's the turbo I went with in hopes of not having to upgrade for awhile.

SignalZero how you like the 87mm turbine? Is it .90 a/r? Noticeable lag with it? How much boost & power you making with it?

Very little lag. It's actually very nice because it makes no noise under normal acceleration. It does have the .90 T6. Even with the stick it was nice. Came on like a freight train! Went 10.50's at 136 on pump gas (3,800lbs)so calculators showed ~680 IIRC Runs were on 8.2-8.4lbs. Made 651/647 on 8lbs and 92 wawa pump gas and 95degree heat LOL

Can't wait to see what it does with the auto

If I had a e85 station close I'd make the swap but the closest one is a paint to get to so I'll stay pump for a bit. May try a race gas tune but would like to go 9's on pump gas and full weight

^^^ I think you have the 1.10. Borg is finally casting the .90's again which is awesome. Don't worry, you're will do 1000rwhp+ no problem. Just did that w the smallest turbine. That car was fun lol

I have a 83 turbine 1.10ar
Made 800rwhp @ 11.5 psi 15 * on E85.
Only lag is the time it takes to push the go pedal to the floor. I'm sure the 87 isn't far off on "lag" time.

You are right sensai

that at means that .90 will be stoopid quick. I honestly cannot imagine it spooling faster

That's going to be an animal op, what made you go with the .90? I would have gone with the 1.10 with that built motor, just wondering? With that compression and the 5.2 I take it your looking for a tq monster ? :D I went with the 76/83 in a 1.10, but still on the fence over the .90. I'm waiting on mine as well, what are your guys wait times btw? I'm at 2 months so far.

Dustin suggested the 87mm .90 turbine. I guess just so it would spool faster. I talked to him a few days ago & he was shipping kits then.

Any updates on the builds?
Got most everything together. Got the short block a few weeks ago. Dustin is just waiting on the headers to come back from powder coating. I figured out the 2015 Mustang GT intake cams will not work on a 11-14 Coyote. So I need to get some 11-14 Coyote intake cams. Besides that I pretty much have everything. It all just needs put together. And the guys at my local shop/tuner only have one gear & its not fast lol.
