My OEM battery was about at the end of its life. Optima was almost twice as much as a wet cell - that was too much and I was going to get whatever wet cell was on sale. However, while looking on Amazon for another item last week, the Optima popped up in the recently viewed panel - on sale for $145. Still higher but close enough. It arrived yestereday, I put it on the battery tender overnight and installed it this morning. It's taller than OEM and I had to disconnect the positive cable from the wheel well in a couple of places to get the terminal to reach. I assume an AGM battery is at least as good as a wet cell. We'll see.
