^^^ great idea - grab you a couple rattlecans at Lowe's and slap a couple coats on. Don't get your feelings hurt when it comes off from heat after a few days tho.

ok. but have you actually gone under the car and tried to adjust? also you may want to spray some wd-40 on the hangers to help loosen them up.
yeah they are as back as far as they get. as with all of the aftermarket setups minus the corsas... if you slide the pipe back so the outer tip is further back, then the inner tip would actually start going behind the bumper. its the lack of an angle cut that makes them stick out. since the bumber is curved and the tips being straight, they have to be longer on one side of the tip to clear the bumper. which gives an appearance they stick out farther.
