I wanted to hear what your opinions are of this emblem. They are made of solid aluminum and painted inside of the recessed letters. The first one I had on my car I didn't have the flat black on the trunk lid but did have the faux gas cap. The second one I tried I left the factory faux gas cap off and only put my emblem on. Personally I like it without the factory piece, just my emblem. The aluminum 5.0 cap fits inside of the factory piece and attaches with 3m tape. I have seen a really cheap imitation of this on eBay where the guy uses a piece of flat plastic and the OE emblem stuck onto it that doesn't look nearly as good.
Opinions of new 5.0 trunk lid emblems needed...

Black with with chrome letters and I would want one.
That is exactly what I was thinking. To much shine and would look better all black with the 5.0 polished.

Sorry, not feeling it. Looks cheap/too shiny. Plus the font and lettering looks a tad off. Take that with a grain of salt because I am very picky with visual add-ons like that.
