What does it use for batteries and accessories? Same as GoPro? I don't want it to be obsolete in a month.

it won't be obsolete lol. and for $55 who cares ! Trust me you'll love it

I do a lot of nighttime street race recording and put three GoPro Hero 3+ Blacks on the car. Those cheap knockoffs have terrible night/dark performance. If you are filming in the daytime, the other brands work fine. For night recording, GoPro only!
